Clive Barker (born 5 October  1952) is an English author, film director and visual artist best known for his work in both metaphysical fantasy and horror fiction.  Barker came to prominence in the mid-1980s with a series of short stories which established him as a leading young horror writer. He has since written many novels and other works, and his fiction has been adapted into motion pictures, notably the Hellraiser series, Candyman series and the film Gods & Monsters. Continued

'Chicago Stories' is a tour of the city and its' people from a working class point of view. The reader meets many strange characters and places. The authors' thoughts are provocative and entertaining.

The Halloween (Dark Arts) Annual Exhibition by Gallery Provocateur is part of Chicago Artists Month 2009, the fourteenth  annual celebration of Chicago’s vibrant visual art community. In October, more than 200 exhibitions of emerging and established artists, openings, demonstrations, tours, open studios and neighborhood art walks take place at galleries, cultural centers and arts buildings throughout the city.  Chicago Artists Month is organized by the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and is made possible through support provided by Bank of America.
