SHAWN HUGHES is an eclectic artist who is currently residing in Chicago. Growing up on the small island of Grosse Ile just outside of Detroit, Michigan he started creating things from whatever was available at a very early age. Keeping this sense of curiosity he would later find himself producing many forms of artwork across the world; finishing both primary and second session schooling in England for years while traveling lands further East, achieving degrees in Business and Art from a small college in Ohio before finding his calling in Chicago. While helping run his cousin’s well acclaimed restaurant for years, Shawn’s interest in the world of tattooing finally aligned. His fellow artist friends saw his work and forced him into tattooing where he started in 2008 and plans on staying.
