Back in my teens the reading of cartoons was probably the inspiration to the universe that now shows in my work.

The paintings are kind of surreal / lowbrow – with a slight touch of humor and satire - often related to modern society and human psychology .

Quirky characters often dominates the symbolic paintings, where they act as a kind of storytellers.

Over the last couple of years the focus has been related to allow the brush strokes to bring motion and vividness into the painting - with the aim that the painting has an energi by its own - and not only because of what it depicts.

Participated in various exhibitions and art shows in Europe and United States.
