John Armentrout is a photographer that has been working within the photo industry for the past 20 years. He is a Chicago native and a graduate from Columbia College, where he received his BA in photography. The pieces before you are from his ongoing abstract nude project. These prints are not digitally manipulated in any way. The larger print is from a scanned negative and printed on canvas. Currently, it's the largest piece from this project. The frame for this canvas print was also handmade by the artist. John continues to shoot images for this project, and continues to expand his project printing on unconventional media.
