Rick was born and raised in Detroit and as a
drummer / illustrator who found his way to l.a. in 1990. formally
trained, but essentially (re)self-taught, he was never satisfied with a
singular medium. with exposure and involvement in street arts, his
approach was always skewed towards the 'make do with what you have'. the
rawness and truth of sex and music always were a perfect avenue of
expression, because they never ran and hid. he lives with his wife and 2
Shibas in Pasadena, ca. and always carries a backpack and a camera.
