The works of Frazetta are full of compositions where man shares the
scene with an animal antagonist or companion. These companions are so
important in his work that they compete fiercely with the human figure
for the spotlight. For this homage, I could not resist the urge to
provide my female warrior with some fabulous tigers, creating a fearsome
quartet I would not want to face in a frozen wasteland.
The final work will be rendered in watercolors and acrylics. White and
blue hues will dominate the composition, drawing inspiration from
Frazetta's "Silver Warrior".
