The Painting in my submission is an Oil on Gallery wrap canvas. Size: 20"x24"  

I am a figurative painter and I have always loved the way Frazetta pictured his women. He didn't follow the norm of lithe, model-type girls so often done in sci-fi. His ladies are voluptuous, even chunky sometimes. You want to wrap your arms around them (if you dare).  And he often pictured them with an exotic animal as companion or protector....her pet if you will. I've always wanted to emulate his style, so this was my chance........Ed Hicks
