Little Stephan Harlan (Reynolds) was born to
sparrows Don and Carol. Don had Chevy convertible he was quite proud of.
Stephan continued to grow and grow, eventually learning to sell his
drawings and paintings for drug money. His daddy, also an artist and a
bigamist didn't do as well as his son and died in obscurity, never having
sold anything for drugs. His work may be found in thrift stores in and
around small-town Minnesota. Stephan is now a member of the AARP, a sure
sign that his number will soon be up. He has shown his work in a few
galleries, averaging one per decade. The show in Phoenix Az. was
highlighted by a week of drunken behavior and a bust in El Paso TX. I hope
never to go to Texas again. |
