For over 20 years, Venus Lane has been designing jewelry on a grand scale for both public and private clients and customers all over the world including celebrities and rock stars both young and old. Her handmade necklaces, chokers, bracelets and anklets are made with anything she can string, such as semi-precious stones, vintage style unique pendants, feathers and bone in addition to quality glass and crystal beads on an exceptionally strong jewelers stringing line. All of the creations are made individually by Venus herself with the greatest of care taken to create every unique piece for any occasion or event, especially as a stunning accessory to any outfit. Venus Specializes in custom work such as recreating a necklace, bracelet, anklet or choker with a broken earring, cherished unused pendants, or heirlooms handed down, giving it a new look and creating new appreciation for old loved trinkets sitting in your jewelry case unnoticed.

       "I have been blessed with the gift and the vision to create very unique pieces of jewelry, which I prefer to call “Spiritually Alive Wearable Art”.  All of my pieces are one of a kind and unique, as are all of us here walking around on this planet. It is a very important part of my creative process personally, and my clients always feel as if they have purchased something special, unique and original from my heart and soul.

        I started stringing pieces together for myself several years ago in Florida and as I wore them in public, so many people began approaching me, commenting on my work and wanting similar pieces for themselves.  I then began creating custom pieces for friends and others I had met that had interest in my work.  I just started getting more and more great feedback and started creating more, and soon began to realize it was really my calling.

     I then moved to back to Chicago (I grew up there) and built up a substantial client base by vending at nightclubs, art fairs, galleries, street festivals, private parties, & and actually…anywhere they would let me! I've created quite a following over the years with thousands of pieces I've made, and gained much notoriety through local and National publications over the years not to mention my celebrity clients as well that have endorsed me over time.

      But life is a journey, not a destination and my journey has currently brought me back to Chicago after many years of travel,  I am anxious to meet more people here in the City and abroad. I’m always on the lookout for other artistic types and cool, open-minded people. As I like to do in any town, I am making my best efforts to decorate this city & the world with my own brand of my personally handmade unique art –Spiritually Alive Wearable Art!"
