Diosdado "Dodie" Mondero

Diosdado Mondro is originally from Manila,
Philippines.
He came to the States Dec. 1979 at the age of
13. All through High School and college, he focused on
majority of his studies in Fine Art and Commercial
Advertising, including photography and architectural
design.
After college, he landed a full-time job in
an Interior Design firm as an in-house artist and later
promoted as Art Director that stretched ten years creating
and supervising all projects starting from preliminary
drawings to final art and presentation. He had the
opportunity to master techniques in all media and styles,
from pencil to airbrush projects, challenging to create
dozens of original works including large scale murals,
conceptual Interior and Exterior architectural renderings to
traditional art. Having given the experience to join in
power meetings with big name clients for project
presentation that gave him the confidence he needed and
simply believing in himself to move forward and begin his
own art business.
He left the firm in 1995 and began Mondero
Studios, and with all his combined mastery in art, he formed
a One-Stop-Shop that offers the customers flexible choices
in all art techniques. His knowledge and skills to design
and create art, has the versatility in varieties of art
mediums is the result from his years of experience and
practice...
...and Practice makes perfect...
These days, he’s self-taught in Digital Art.
He used his traditional skills ALL to his advantage and with
the aid of today's computer software such as Photoshop and
Corel Painter. He's always have been 'Self-taught' and LOVE
to learn on his own. He accepts the difficult task, but it's
very rewarding after challenging the mind and overcoming his
fears to explore each uncharted course, and discover and
conquer what lies ahead.
His journey is not over....
