I am a Chicago based illustrator. My focus is with fantasy and science fiction. Previously a 10 year veteran freelancer in the design world I switched gears in 2009 to the wondrous world of illustration. Working in digital and traditional mediums I create illustrations for books, games, and the like. I am honored to have been an Illie nominee as well as having been published in Spectrum, BlueCanvas, Exposé, Fantasy+, and ImagineFX magazine. The welcoming and sometimes family like atmosphere of the community keeps me coming back for more every day.

I’m also a runner, albeit not as intense as I used to be, but I still get out and run. I’ve completed many marathons, dozens of triathlons, 1 half Iron Man, a few adventure races, and piling miles on my bike doing century rides. If that’s not enough to keep my wife, Laurie, and I busy our dogs and cats sure fill in the gaps.
